Welcome to Halakura College
Halakura College has already completed three decades of its glorious existence. The journey began wayback in 1991 when some enterprising men of the locality joined hands to make their dream a reality. Earlier the aspiring young boys and girls of Halakura and adjoining villages used to knock on the doors of urban and semi-urban colleges so as to achieve their higher educational goals.

Message from the Principal
It is a matter of immense pleasure to welcome aspiring students to Halakura College-a centre of excellence in the sphere of Higher Education map of the district of Dhubri, Assam. The college, established in the year 1991, is situated in the westernmost part of Dhubri bordering Bangladesh and the Indian province of West Bengal. Since its incubation, this institute of excellence has been affiliated to Gauhati University and later it has also been enlisted under 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act of 1956, though the most-coveted NAAC accreditation is still awaited.
