From the Principal’s Desk
It is a matter of immense pleasure to welcome aspiring students to Halakura College-a centre of excellence in the sphere of Higher Education map of the district of Dhubri, Assam. The college, established in the year 1991, is situated in the westernmost part of Dhubri bordering Bangladesh and the Indian province of West Bengal. Since its incubation, this institute of excellence has been affiliated to Gauhati University and later it has also been enlisted under 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act of 1956, though the most-coveted NAAC accreditation is still awaited.
The college has left no stone unturned to render quality higher education to local aspirants as well as aspiring students from outside. Equipped with efficient faculties in Humanities along with a well-furnished library, the college has all all along attracted meritorious students pursuing educational and academic dreams.
I hope the college will touch dizzy heights in the arena of higher education in near future.
